Dr. Wei Zhang serves as the Assistant Director of Research at the n-Lorem Foundation.

With over 15 years of extensive research and professional experience, he is a highly accomplished scientist with expertise in RNA biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, and analytical chemistry.

Before joining n-Lorem, Dr. Zhang was a professional research staff member at the Cleveland Clinic and an adjunct assistant professor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. During this time, he amassed over seven years of experience in academic, clinical, and industry research, focusing on drug development for various diseases. This blend of academic rigor and practical application has given him a deep understanding of translational research and its role in advancing healthcare innovations.

Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore and completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Case Western Reserve University. Over eight years of hands-on bench work, he contributed to the exploration of small molecules from diverse sources for pre-drug discovery. Wei is a self-motivated professional with a proven track record of driving research excellence and delivering results.
